In a closely contested matchup, the Indianapolis Colts narrowly defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-17 in Week 16 of the 2026 season. With playoff positioning on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Colts who came out on top, solidifying their chances for a postseason run. Joe Burrow put on a show for the Bengals, throwing for 322 yards and a touchdown, while Ja'Marr Chase led all receivers with an impressive 122 yards. Despite Burrow's strong performance, the Colts' defense managed to keep the Bengals in check when it mattered most, limiting their scoring opportunities. Defensively, the Colts were anchored by Camryn Bynum, who recorded eight total tackles, and DeForest Buckner, who contributed with a key sack. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Colts' defense stifled a potential game-winning drive by the Bengals, forcing a turnover on downs and allowing Indianapolis to secure the victory.
