The Indianapolis Colts topped the Houston Texans with a final score of 20-10 in a Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season. With both teams vying for an early advantage in the division, the Colts managed to secure a crucial home victory, showcasing their defensive prowess and a standout performance on the ground. Indianapolis’ Jonathan Taylor was the star of the show, racking up an impressive 258 rushing yards, which not only fueled their offense but also controlled the clock. C.J. Stroud of the Texans kept the game competitive, throwing for 182 yards and a touchdown, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Colts' dominant ground game. Nico Collins contributed with 78 receiving yards, but the Texans struggled to establish a rhythm against a stout Colts defense. The game turned decisively in the Colts' favor thanks to their defense, led by Sauce Gardner, who recorded three interceptions, creating critical turnovers that stunted Houston's momentum. DeForest Buckner also made his presence felt with two sacks, applying constant pressure on Stroud throughout the game. The Colts' ability to force mistakes and capitalize on them proved to be the difference-maker in this contest.
