The Kansas City Chiefs topped the Miami Dolphins 28-21 in a tightly contested Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season. With both teams vying for an early-season advantage, the Chiefs emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive prowess and resilience. Patrick Mahomes led the charge for Kansas City, throwing for three touchdowns and solidifying his status as a top quarterback in the league. Meanwhile, Kenneth Walker shined on the ground, racking up 124 rushing yards and providing a powerful complement to the passing attack. Malik Willis of Miami put forth a valiant effort, accumulating 301 passing yards, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Chiefs made key plays that turned the tide in their favor. Mansoor Delane's five tackles helped stifle Miami's momentum, while R Mason Thomas's sack added pressure on Willis when it mattered most. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Mahomes delivered a touchdown pass that put the Chiefs ahead for good, allowing them to hold off a late-game surge from the Dolphins.
