In a decisive Week 18 matchup, the Buffalo Bills topped the New York Jets with a commanding 40-13 victory, solidifying their playoff position and sending the Jets home for the season. The stakes were high, with both teams looking to finish strong, but it was the Bills who showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball. Buffalo’s offense was led by quarterback Jordan Love, who threw for an impressive 334 yards and three touchdown passes, showcasing his precision and poise under pressure. Running back Jonathan Taylor also made a significant impact, racking up 100 rushing yards, while wide receiver Jordan Addison contributed with 85 receiving yards, helping the Bills build an insurmountable lead. Defensively, the Bills were relentless, with Kyler Gordon making a key interception that shifted momentum in Buffalo's favor. Charvarius Ward Sr. contributed with half a sack, but it was the overall defensive effort that stifled the Jets' offensive rhythm throughout the game. The turning point came early in the second half, when Love's third touchdown pass extended the lead to 27-6, effectively putting the game out of reach for New York.
