In a hard-fought contest, the Denver Broncos narrowly defeated the Arizona Cardinals 19-16 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. Both teams were looking to solidify their playoff positions, making this matchup critical as the season reaches its midpoint. Bo Nix led the Broncos' offense with a strong performance, throwing for 202 yards, while the Cardinals' Jacoby Brissett managed to connect for one touchdown despite a challenging game. On the ground, Jeremiyah Love shined for Arizona, rushing for an impressive 109 yards, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win. Michael Wilson contributed with 57 receiving yards, keeping the Cardinals competitive throughout the match. Defensively, both teams made their mark, but it was the Broncos' Pat Surtain II who proved pivotal with a key interception, stifling an Arizona drive and shifting momentum. While Dadrion Taylor-Demerson recorded 1.5 sacks for the Cardinals, it was Denver’s ability to capitalize on crucial plays that ultimately determined the outcome. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Surtain's interception set up the game-winning field goal, sealing the victory for the Broncos.
