In a pivotal NFC North showdown, the Green Bay Packers topped the Chicago Bears with a final score of 28-17, solidifying their position in the playoff race as the 2026 season heats up. Both teams entered Week 5 with high hopes, but it was the Packers who emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive firepower and strategic execution. Quarterback Jordan Love led the charge for Green Bay, throwing for 232 yards and a touchdown, while running back Josh Jacobs dominated on the ground with 112 rushing yards. Christian Watson was a standout in the receiving game, racking up an impressive 140 yards, providing Love with a reliable target throughout the contest. This offensive performance allowed the Packers to maintain control and consistently put points on the board. Defensively, the Packers were able to limit the Bears' offensive momentum, with Isaiah McDuffie leading the charge with eight total tackles. The game's turning point came in the third quarter when the Packers intercepted a critical pass, shifting the momentum in their favor and allowing them to extend their lead. Despite Montez Sweat's lone sack for Chicago and Jaylon Johnson's interception, the Bears struggled to find their rhythm against a well-prepared Green Bay defense.
