In a thrilling Week 7 matchup, the Cleveland Browns outlasted the Tennessee Titans with a final score of 35-27, keeping their playoff hopes alive. Both teams fought hard, but the Browns managed to secure the victory in a game that had significant implications for the postseason race. Steve McNair showcased his talent for the Titans, throwing for an impressive 294 yards and four touchdowns, but it was Chase Brown’s steady ground game that helped the Browns secure the win with 85 rushing yards. Michael Pittman shone as well, racking up 144 receiving yards, but ultimately, the Browns' balanced attack proved too much for Tennessee to handle. Defensively, the Browns relied on Clay Matthews, who recorded one sack and contributed to the pressure on McNair. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Cleveland's defense stiffened, forcing a crucial turnover that allowed the offense to extend their lead and seal the game. The Titans fought valiantly but fell just short in their bid for victory.
