The San Francisco 49ers dominated the Atlanta Falcons with a resounding 38-0 victory in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With this win, the 49ers solidified their position as one of the top teams in the league, showcasing their offensive prowess while the Falcons struggled to find any rhythm throughout the game. Drake Maye was the standout performer for San Francisco, throwing for 330 yards and three touchdowns, effectively leading the 49ers' offense. He connected seamlessly with Terrell Owens, who racked up an impressive 190 receiving yards, making key plays that kept the Falcons' defense on its heels. Although Tyrone Tracy Jr. led Atlanta's ground game with just 52 rushing yards, the 49ers' offensive explosion left the Falcons searching for answers. Defensively, the 49ers were equally impressive, with Merton Hanks making the game-changing plays by intercepting two passes, stifling any chance of an Atlanta comeback. The turning point came early in the second half when Hanks's second interception set up another scoring drive for San Francisco, extending their lead and effectively sealing the fate of the Falcons. The 49ers' defense, coupled with their explosive offense, ensured a commanding shutout against Atlanta.
