In a decisive Week 3 matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the New England Patriots with a final score of 20-7, solidifying their position in the early season standings. The Jaguars demonstrated their prowess at home, while the Patriots struggled to find their rhythm on offense, ultimately falling short in their bid for a much-needed victory. Offensively, it was a tough day for the Patriots as Jaxson Dart led the way with just 109 passing yards and Tommy DeVito connected for one touchdown. Hunter Henry stood out among receivers, racking up 77 yards, but the team couldn't capitalize on their opportunities to put points on the board. Meanwhile, the Jaguars' offense was led by Bhayshul Tuten, who managed a modest 23 rushing yards, but the real story was Jacksonville's efficient scoring. Defensively, the Jaguars made their presence felt with a dominant performance. Caleb Ransaw was the standout, recording three interceptions that stifled any momentum the Patriots tried to build throughout the game. Travon Walker added to the pressure with a key sack, and Jarrian Jones led the team with three total tackles. The turning point came in the second quarter when Ransaw's first interception set up a touchdown drive, giving the Jaguars a comfortable lead that they would not relinquish.
