In a hard-fought battle, the Seattle Seahawks topped the Washington Commanders 24-17 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. The win keeps Seattle's momentum going, while Washington will look to regroup after a closely contested matchup. Both teams showcased their skills, but it was the Seahawks who ultimately secured the victory. Jalen Milroe shone for Seattle, throwing for 260 yards and two touchdowns, leading his team with precision and poise. He found a favorite target in Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who racked up an impressive 140 receiving yards, making critical plays to move the chains. The Seahawks' offense executed well, capitalizing on their opportunities to maintain the lead throughout the game. Defensively, the Seahawks made key contributions that shaped the outcome, highlighted by Derick Hall's sack and Nick Emmanwori's interception. The game turned in Seattle's favor late in the fourth quarter when Emmanwori's pick thwarted a promising Washington drive, allowing the Seahawks to maintain their advantage. Washington's Sonny Styles led the defensive effort with seven total tackles, but it wasn't enough to halt Seattle's momentum as they held off the Commanders for the win.
