In a closely contested matchup, the Cincinnati Bengals narrowly defeated the Washington Commanders 27-20 in Week 11 of the 2026 season. Both teams were looking to solidify their playoff positioning, but it was the Bengals who came out on top, showcasing their resilience in a tight game. Breece Hall led the Bengals’ ground attack with 66 rushing yards, providing crucial support for the passing game. Meanwhile, the Commanders' Doug Williams put on a show through the air, racking up 244 passing yards and throwing two touchdowns, with standout receiver Xavier Worthy contributing 92 receiving yards. Despite the offensive production from both sides, it was Cincinnati's balanced attack that ultimately proved decisive. Defensively, the Bengals managed to contain Washington's offense just enough to secure the win. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Cincinnati's defense tightened, forcing a key turnover that stalled a promising drive by the Commanders. Benjamin St-Juste led Washington with eight total tackles, but it was the Bengals' ability to make critical stops when it mattered that paved the way for their victory.
