The Minnesota Vikings topped the San Francisco 49ers 28-14 in a crucial Week 11 showdown that bolstered their playoff hopes. With this victory, the Vikings solidified their position in the postseason race, while the 49ers face critical challenges ahead. Vikings quarterback Trevor Lawrence led the charge with an impressive 277 passing yards, complementing the offense's balanced attack. San Francisco's Taylen Green managed to throw for one touchdown, but it was Jerry Rice's standout performance with 100 receiving yards that kept the 49ers competitive. However, the Vikings' ability to score consistently proved too much for San Francisco to handle. Defensively, the Vikings made game-changing plays, highlighted by Christian Gonzalez's two interceptions that shifted momentum in their favor. Greg Rousseau's 1.5 sacks further pressured the 49ers' offense, stifling their attempts to rally back. The turning point came in the second quarter when Gonzalez's second pick set up a quick touchdown, allowing Minnesota to build a lead they would not relinquish.
