In a dominating display, the Houston Texans topped the New York Jets 69-14 in Week 3 of the 2027 season. With this victory, the Texans solidify their position as one of the league's elite teams, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive strength against a struggling Jets squad. C.J. Stroud was nothing short of spectacular, throwing for 554 yards and five touchdowns, leading the Texans' aerial assault. Woody Marks contributed significantly on the ground, racking up an impressive 242 rushing yards, while Matthew Golden emerged as a receiving powerhouse, amassing 336 yards and contributing to Stroud's record-setting performance. This trio was instrumental in building a commanding lead that the Jets could not overcome. Defensively, the Texans were equally impressive, with Kam Chancellor leading the charge with six total tackles. Amari Ricard made his presence known with two sacks, consistently pressuring the Jets' quarterback. The turning point came early in the second quarter when a critical interception set up a quick touchdown, swinging momentum firmly in Houston's favor and leaving the Jets reeling for the remainder of the game.
