In a commanding performance, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Houston Texans 37-17 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. With both teams looking to establish themselves early in the year, the Colts' victory solidifies their position as contenders in the AFC South. Quarterback Daniel Jones was the star of the show, throwing for 219 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. Jonathan Taylor added a dominant ground game, racking up 140 rushing yards that kept the Texans' defense on their heels. Meanwhile, Nico Collins led the Texans' receiving corps with 65 yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Colts' high-scoring attack. Indianapolis' defense played a crucial role in the outcome, forcing key turnovers and limiting the Texans' offensive opportunities. A.J. Haulcy's interception was a pivotal moment, halting a Houston drive and shifting the momentum firmly in favor of the Colts. With Camryn Bynum leading the defense with four total tackles and CJ Allen contributing a sack, Indianapolis demonstrated a balanced effort that stifled any comeback attempts by Houston.
