In a dominant display, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Indianapolis Colts 21-0 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. The Chiefs showcased their offensive prowess while keeping the Colts at bay, solidifying their early-season momentum and positioning themselves as a formidable contender in the league. Patrick Mahomes was the star of the night, throwing for 226 yards and three touchdowns, effectively leading the Chiefs' offense. Rashee Rice emerged as his favorite target, racking up 111 receiving yards and making key catches that kept drives alive. Kenneth Walker added to the offensive firepower with a solid 69 rushing yards, contributing to a balanced attack that overwhelmed the Colts' defense. On the defensive side, the Chiefs' L'Jarius Sneed was a game-changer, securing two interceptions that thwarted any chance of a Colts comeback. The turning point came in the second quarter when Sneed’s first interception led to a quick touchdown, shifting momentum firmly in Kansas City's favor. While Grover Stewart of the Colts registered two sacks and Sauce Gardner made six tackles, it was clear that the Chiefs' defense, combined with their potent offense, dictated the outcome of this matchup.
