In a stunning display of offensive firepower, the Buffalo Bills triumphed over the New England Patriots with a final score of 88-40 in Week 4 of the 2026 season. This victory solidifies Buffalo’s dominance in the league, showcasing their ability to convert opportunities into points against a struggling Patriots defense. Quarterback Jalen Hurts was the standout star of the night, throwing for an astounding 581 yards and 11 touchdowns, a performance that will go down in franchise history. His connection with Dallas Goedert was particularly potent, as Goedert racked up 213 receiving yards, making crucial plays that kept the momentum firmly in Buffalo’s favor. The offensive line provided Hurts with plenty of protection, allowing him to exploit the Patriots’ secondary effectively. Defensively, the Bills made their presence felt with a series of key plays, highlighted by Byron Young's three sacks and Dan Jackson's two interceptions. This defensive pressure was instrumental in turning the tide of the game, as Buffalo's relentless pursuit of the quarterback disrupted New England’s rhythm. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Jackson's interception led directly to another touchdown, further widening the gap and leaving the Patriots struggling to keep pace.
