In a thrilling Week 2 matchup of the 2027 season, the Pittsburgh Steelers narrowly defeated the Green Bay Packers with a final score of 28-24. The victory was crucial for the Steelers as they look to establish momentum early in the season, while the Packers aimed to bounce back after a tough opener. Drew Allar led the charge for Pittsburgh, throwing for 251 yards and delivering crucial plays down the stretch. Meanwhile, DK Metcalf was a standout in the receiving game, racking up 90 yards and proving to be a reliable target. For Green Bay, Jordan Love showcased his talent with two touchdown passes, while Josh Jacobs dominated on the ground with a staggering 159 rushing yards. Defensively, the Steelers' Jamel Dean recorded four total tackles, contributing to a solid performance, but the turning point came when Jihaad Campbell intercepted a pass for the Packers, temporarily swinging the momentum. However, it was the combination of Pittsburgh's timely scoring and their ability to hold off Green Bay's late-game surge that secured the win, despite the impressive efforts from the Packers' defense, including Micah Parsons' 1.5 sacks.
