The Minnesota Vikings topped the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 28-14 in Week 3 of the 2027 season. With this victory, the Vikings solidify their position in the playoff race, showcasing their offensive firepower against a formidable opponent. Trinadad Chambliss led the charge for the Vikings, throwing for 279 yards and three touchdowns, proving to be a decisive force in the game. Complementing his efforts, Justin Jefferson was a standout receiver, racking up an impressive 200 receiving yards, consistently finding ways to break open against the 49ers' secondary. Despite a modest rushing performance from Demond Claiborne, the Vikings' aerial attack was more than enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Vikings were effective in limiting the 49ers' offensive threats, with Blake Cashman notching an interception that shifted momentum in favor of Minnesota. The turning point came in the second quarter when Cashman's pick set up a quick touchdown drive, allowing the Vikings to build a lead they would not relinquish. Dallas Turner also contributed with two total tackles, helping to stifle San Francisco's attempts to rally back in the second half.
