In a commanding display, the New England Patriots defeated the Dallas Cowboys 28-7 in Week 3 of the 2027 season. The Patriots improved their record with this win, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball and establishing themselves as early contenders in the league. Drake Maye was the standout performer for New England, throwing for an impressive 261 yards and two touchdowns, effectively leading the offense. A.J. Brown was his primary target, racking up an astonishing 183 receiving yards, consistently making big plays that kept the Cowboys' defense on its heels. On the ground, Jaydon Blue led Dallas with 51 rushing yards, but the Cowboys struggled to find their rhythm throughout the game. Defensively, the Patriots were relentless, with Brenden Schooler not only making four tackles but also securing an interception that shifted momentum in New England's favor. Gabe Jacas added to the pressure with a sack, further disrupting Dallas' offensive game plan. The turning point came late in the first half when Schooler's interception set up another scoring drive for the Patriots, allowing them to extend their lead and control the game from that point forward.
