In a decisive Week 17 matchup, the Minnesota Vikings topped the New York Jets with a final score of 29-10, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season draws to a close. With this victory, the Vikings showcased their dominance, leaving the Jets struggling to find their footing in the waning weeks of the season. Kyler Murray was the standout performer for Minnesota, throwing for 248 yards and two touchdowns, effectively leading the offense throughout the game. Jordan Addison contributed significantly as well, racking up 97 receiving yards, while Demond Claiborne added 57 rushing yards to keep the Jets' defense on its heels. The Vikings' offensive efficiency proved too much for New York to handle. On the defensive side, Caleb Banks was a key factor, recording 2.5 sacks and consistently pressuring the Jets' quarterback. The turning point came in the second quarter when Banks' relentless pursuit led to a critical turnover, allowing the Vikings to extend their lead and dictate the pace of the game. The New York defense struggled to respond, ultimately sealing their fate in this lopsided contest.
