In a dominant display, the Kansas City Chiefs crushed the Baltimore Ravens 50-7 in Week 5 of the 2027 season. With playoff aspirations on the line, the Chiefs showcased their offensive firepower, leaving the Ravens searching for answers as they continue to struggle this season. Patrick Mahomes was nothing short of spectacular, throwing for 272 yards and tossing six touchdown passes, effectively controlling the game from start to finish. Terrance Carter Jr. emerged as a key target, racking up 157 receiving yards and finding the end zone multiple times, proving to be a nightmare for the Ravens' secondary. Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson's struggles were evident, as he managed only 10 rushing yards, unable to find his rhythm against a relentless Chiefs defense. On the defensive front, Kansas City made their mark with Nohl Williams leading the team with two total tackles and an interception, showcasing their ability to capitalize on Baltimore's mistakes. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Mahomes connected with Carter for a 50-yard touchdown, swinging the momentum firmly in favor of the Chiefs. With a stifling defense and explosive offense, Kansas City solidified their status as a team to watch this season.
