In a thrilling season opener, the Baltimore Ravens topped the Las Vegas Raiders 32-22, setting the tone for the 2027 campaign. With both teams eager to start strong, the Ravens proved their mettle on the road, showcasing their offensive prowess from the first snap to the final whistle. Lamar Jackson was the standout performer for Baltimore, throwing for 261 yards and three touchdowns, effectively orchestrating the Ravens' offense. Rashod Bateman emerged as his favorite target, racking up 113 receiving yards and contributing significantly to the team's scoring efforts. Meanwhile, Ashton Jeanty led the Raiders' ground attack with 89 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the high-flying Ravens. Defensively, the Ravens held strong against the Raiders' offense, forcing critical stops at key moments. Although Maxx Crosby made his presence felt with two sacks for Las Vegas, the turning point came in the third quarter when Baltimore's defense stifled a potential scoring drive, allowing Jackson and the offense to extend their lead. With this victory, the Ravens have established themselves as a formidable contender early in the season.
