In a thrilling Week 16 matchup, the Denver Broncos topped the Las Vegas Raiders 35-24, solidifying their spot in the playoff race. With both teams vying for crucial late-season momentum, the stakes were high as they battled for supremacy in the AFC West. Bo Nix was the standout for Denver, throwing for three touchdowns and steering his team to victory with a well-rounded offensive performance. Courtland Sutton also made his mark, racking up 106 receiving yards, while Ashton Jeanty led the Raiders on the ground with a solid 111 rushing yards. Despite a strong effort from Las Vegas, including Fernando Mendoza's 264 passing yards, it wasn't enough to overcome the Broncos' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Broncos capitalized on key moments, with Chidobe Awuzie snagging an interception that shifted the momentum late in the game. Although Quay Walker recorded two sacks for the Raiders, the Denver defense held firm when it mattered most. The turning point came in the third quarter, where the Broncos' defense stifled a Raiders drive, allowing Nix and the offense to extend their lead and ultimately secure the win.
