In an exciting Week 5 matchup, the Atlanta Falcons narrowly defeated the Baltimore Ravens with a final score of 38-28. The victory keeps the Falcons in contention as they look to secure their playoff aspirations, while the Ravens will need to regroup after a hard-fought battle. Leading the charge for Atlanta was quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who threw for an impressive 382 yards and two touchdowns. He connected frequently with standout receiver Drake London, who racked up 147 receiving yards, proving to be a constant threat downfield. Justice Hill provided a solid ground game for the Ravens, amassing 86 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Falcons' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Falcons were led by Xavier Watts, who recorded eight tackles, while Jessie Bates III made a critical interception that shifted momentum in the second half. The turning point came when Penix found London for a long touchdown strike, which not only extended their lead but also deflated the Ravens' comeback hopes. With a balanced offensive performance and timely defensive plays, Atlanta secured a pivotal victory at home.
