In a dominating season opener, the Dallas Cowboys blanked the New York Giants with a decisive 34-0 victory. With both teams eager to set the tone for the 2026 season, the Cowboys showcased their offensive prowess while the Giants struggled to find their rhythm. Leading the charge for Dallas was quarterback Drake Maye, who threw for 311 yards and a touchdown, efficiently moving the ball downfield. Running back Jonah Coleman added a strong ground game with 103 rushing yards, while wide receiver Jayden Reed was a standout target, racking up 125 receiving yards. The offensive trio’s performance was instrumental in building a commanding lead early in the contest. While the Cowboys' defense was not heavily tested, they still managed to apply pressure, with Vita Vea contributing half a sack. The turning point came in the first half when the Cowboys scored back-to-back touchdowns, effectively demoralizing the Giants and sealing their fate early. New York's Devin Bush led the team with 11 tackles, but it was clear that the Giants' defense could not keep pace with Dallas' offensive onslaught.
