In a decisive Week 5 matchup, the San Francisco 49ers topped the Seattle Seahawks 34-13, solidifying their position in the NFC West. With both teams vying for playoff positioning early in the 2026 season, the 49ers delivered a commanding performance that showcased their offensive prowess. Leading the charge for San Francisco was Brock Purdy, who threw for two touchdowns, while Christian McCaffrey dominated on the ground with 116 rushing yards. The Seahawks' Jalen Milroe managed to put up 205 passing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the 49ers' explosive offense. Rashid Shaheed was a bright spot for Seattle, racking up 93 receiving yards in a losing effort. Defensively, the 49ers were relentless, highlighted by Ephesians Prysock's two interceptions that turned the tide in favor of San Francisco. Nick Bosa added to the pressure with a sack, while Dre Greenlaw led the team in tackles with four. The turning point came in the second quarter when Prysock's first interception set up a touchdown drive, allowing the 49ers to pull away and maintain control for the remainder of the game.
