In a thrilling Week 15 matchup, the New England Patriots secured a 35-26 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the season heads into its final stretch. The stakes were high, with both teams vying for critical positioning in the postseason race. Patrick Mahomes showcased his elite talent, throwing for 261 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Chiefs' aerial attack. However, it was TreVeyon Henderson who provided the ground game needed for the Patriots, rushing for 71 yards and contributing to the team's balanced offensive strategy. Xavier Worthy emerged as a standout for Kansas City, racking up 160 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome New England’s offensive firepower. Defensively, the Patriots made a pivotal play that shifted momentum, with Craig Woodson intercepting Mahomes and halting a potential scoring drive. While the Chiefs' Caleb Ransaw recorded three total tackles and R Mason Thomas added 1.5 sacks, it was the Patriots' ability to capitalize on key opportunities that ultimately led to their victory. The game turned when Woodson's interception set up a touchdown drive, allowing New England to extend their lead and control the tempo down the stretch.
