In a dominant display, the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Atlanta Falcons 33-6 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With this win, the 49ers solidify their position as a top contender in the NFC, while the Falcons continue to struggle to find their footing this season. Brock Purdy was the standout performer for San Francisco, throwing for 200 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his efficiency and command of the offense. Christian McCaffrey contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 94 rushing yards, while De'Zhaun Stribling led the receiving corps with 88 yards, helping to keep the chains moving throughout the game. Defensively, the Falcons struggled to contain the 49ers' offensive firepower, despite Jalon Walker's impressive 2.5 sacks. The turning point came in the second quarter when Purdy connected with Stribling for a touchdown, opening up a commanding lead that the Falcons were unable to overcome. With the 49ers' defense holding Atlanta to just six points, it was clear that this was a one-sided affair from start to finish.
