In a thrilling Week 3 matchup, the New England Patriots outlasted the Jacksonville Jaguars with a final score of 45-35. With both teams looking to secure an early-season victory, the stakes were high as they aimed to establish momentum in the 2026 season. Offensively, it was a standout performance by TreVeyon Henderson, who racked up an impressive 241 rushing yards for the Patriots, helping to control the tempo of the game. Jaguars quarterback Jalen Milroe also had a remarkable outing, throwing for 361 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to keep his team competitive throughout. Johnny Wilson added to the Jaguars' offense with 138 receiving yards, but it ultimately wasn't enough to overcome New England's firepower. On the defensive side, the Patriots made crucial plays that shifted the momentum in their favor, highlighted by Kevin Byard III’s remarkable three interceptions. Christian Barmore added pressure up front with a sack, helping to disrupt Milroe's rhythm. The turning point came late in the game when Byard’s third interception sealed the victory for New England, thwarting any chance of a Jaguars comeback.
