In a crucial Week 16 matchup, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers topped the Atlanta Falcons 34-23, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season nears its end. Baker Mayfield led the charge for Tampa Bay, throwing for 311 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to command the offense effectively. He connected with Ted Hurst III for 121 receiving yards, providing a dynamic threat that the Falcons struggled to contain. Meanwhile, Bijan Robinson of Atlanta put together a strong performance on the ground with 107 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win. Defensively, the Buccaneers made key plays that shifted the momentum of the game, highlighted by Rueben Bain Jr.'s two sacks, which disrupted Atlanta's passing game at critical moments. Divine Deablo of the Falcons recorded nine tackles, but the defensive pressure from Tampa Bay ultimately turned the tide.
