In a dominant performance, the Seattle Seahawks cruised to a 42-10 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2 of the 2026 season. This win not only boosts Seattle’s momentum early in the season but also sends a clear message to the rest of the league that they are serious contenders. Leading the charge for the Seahawks was quarterback Jalen Milroe, who put on a spectacular show with 360 passing yards and three touchdown passes. Milroe also showcased his versatility by adding 217 rushing yards, making him a constant threat on the ground and through the air. Wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was another key contributor, racking up 162 receiving yards and providing Milroe with a reliable target. Defensively, the Seahawks made their presence felt, highlighted by cornerback Devon Witherspoon's six total tackles and Josh Jobe's crucial interception that halted any momentum the Cardinals hoped to build. The game’s turning point came in the second quarter when Seattle's defense forced a turnover, allowing Milroe to capitalize with a touchdown drive that extended their lead. With the defense holding strong throughout the game, the Seahawks proved to be a well-rounded team capable of both offensive fireworks and defensive resilience.
