The Tampa Bay Buccaneers topped the Carolina Panthers 31-10 in a decisive Week 7 matchup of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The Buccaneers came into this game needing a strong performance to maintain their momentum, and they delivered with a commanding victory. Baker Mayfield led the way for Tampa Bay, throwing for 260 yards and tossing a touchdown pass, showcasing his efficiency under pressure. Marvin Harrison Jr. emerged as a key target, racking up 91 receiving yards to help bolster the Buccaneers' offensive attack. Meanwhile, Chuba Hubbard put up a commendable effort for the Panthers, rushing for 117 yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Tampa Bay's offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Buccaneers were dominant, with Vita Vea recording an impressive 2.5 sacks that disrupted the Panthers' rhythm throughout the game. The turning point came in the second quarter when Vea's pressure led to a critical turnover, allowing the Buccaneers to capitalize and extend their lead. The Panthers struggled to recover from that moment, as Tampa Bay's defense tightened and controlled the game from there.
