In a tightly contested matchup, the New York Jets narrowly defeated the Miami Dolphins with a final score of 25-23, keeping their playoff aspirations alive in Week 7 of the 2026 season. The game was crucial for both teams as they vied for positioning in the competitive AFC East. Cade Klubnik led the Jets' offense with 191 passing yards, but it was Braelon Allen who stole the spotlight with a dynamic performance, rushing for 107 yards. Malik Willis of the Dolphins countered with two touchdown passes, showcasing his ability to keep the game close, but ultimately it wasn’t enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Jets made significant contributions, highlighted by Jarvis Brownlee Jr.'s nine total tackles and a critical interception by Minkah Fitzpatrick that halted a Dolphins' drive. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Jets' defense held firm, forcing a turnover on downs and sealing the victory for New York.
