In a thrilling season opener, the Minnesota Vikings topped the Green Bay Packers 24-15, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball. With this victory, the Vikings set a strong tone for the 2026 season, while the Packers will look to regroup and find their rhythm in the coming weeks. Minnesota's Caleb Williams was the standout performer, throwing for 242 yards and two touchdowns, effectively leading his team to victory. His precision passing kept the Packers' defense on their heels, while the Vikings' offensive line provided the protection needed to execute their game plan. On the other side, Bhayshul Tuten led the Packers in rushing with 55 yards, and Jayden Reed was a reliable target, racking up 90 receiving yards despite the loss. Defensively, the Vikings made their mark with Nick Bolton leading the charge, recording seven total tackles. Albert Regis added to the pressure on the Packers' offense with 1.5 sacks, while Jalen Ramsey's interception was a critical moment that shifted momentum toward Minnesota. This defensive effort, particularly in the second half, stifled any comeback attempts from Green Bay and solidified the Vikings' grip on the game.
