In a thrilling Week 2 showdown, the Seattle Seahawks narrowly defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 37-30, securing their first win of the 2028 season. With both teams vying for early dominance in the league, this game proved crucial for setting the tone as the season unfolds. Jalen Milroe was the standout performer for Seattle, throwing for an impressive 370 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. Complementing his efforts was Justin Jefferson, who racked up 137 receiving yards, consistently finding space in the Buccaneers' secondary to make big plays. Defensively, the Seahawks made a pivotal impact, particularly through Ahkello Witherspoon, who intercepted a crucial pass that turned the momentum in their favor. Although Tampa Bay's Benjamin Morrison led the game with eight tackles, it was Seattle's timely defensive stops that proved decisive.
