The New England Patriots kicked off the 2027 season with a solid 24-13 victory over the Tennessee Titans. Both teams sought to make a strong statement in Week 1, but it was the Patriots who emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive resilience. Drake Maye led the charge for New England, throwing for 219 yards while A.J. Brown shined in the receiving game with 106 yards. The Patriots found the end zone multiple times to secure their lead, while the Titans struggled to keep pace offensively, with Cam Ward managing just one touchdown pass in response. Defensively, the Patriots were effective in stifling the Titans' attack. Harold Landry III led the team with seven tackles, while Craig Woodson’s interception proved crucial in halting a potential scoring drive for Tennessee. The game's turning point came late in the second quarter when New England capitalized on that turnover, extending their lead and ultimately sealing the win.
