In a commanding season opener, the New York Jets topped the Tennessee Titans 33-14, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball. With this victory, the Jets set a strong tone for the 2026 season, while the Titans will need to regroup after a disappointing start. Breece Hall was the standout on offense, racking up an impressive 164 rushing yards, proving to be a force the Titans could not contain. Quarterback Cade Klubnik contributed with a touchdown pass, while Tennessee’s Cam Ward struggled to find his rhythm, finishing with just 129 passing yards. Wan'Dale Robinson led the Titans in receiving with 64 yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Jets' offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Jets were relentless, led by Minkah Fitzpatrick’s four total tackles and Will McDonald IV, who recorded two sacks. The game-changing moment came when Demario Davis intercepted Ward three times, completely shifting momentum in favor of New York. The Titans struggled to regain control after those turnovers, sealing their fate in this opening matchup.
