In a high-scoring affair, the Cincinnati Bengals triumphed over the Atlanta Falcons with a commanding 56-31 victory in Week 9 of the 2026 season. This win solidifies the Bengals' position as a contender, while the Falcons will need to regroup after a disappointing performance at home. Joe Burrow was nothing short of spectacular, throwing for 539 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing his elite passing ability all game long. Jeff Caldwell emerged as his favorite target, racking up an impressive 391 receiving yards, leaving the Falcons' secondary struggling to keep pace. On the ground, Bijan Robinson kept the Falcons competitive with a remarkable 232 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome Cincinnati's aerial assault. Defensively, the Bengals were led by DJ Turner II, who recorded six total tackles, contributing to a solid performance that stifled the Falcons' attempts to mount a comeback. The turning point came in the second quarter when Burrow connected with Caldwell for a long touchdown, shifting momentum in favor of Cincinnati. With the Falcons unable to respond effectively on defense, the Bengals capitalized, ultimately sealing their dominant win.
