The Seattle Seahawks decisively topped the Arizona Cardinals with a commanding final score of 48-7 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. With this victory, the Seahawks not only asserted their dominance early in the season but also sent a clear message about their offensive firepower and defensive tenacity. Leading the charge for Seattle was their quarterback, who threw for an impressive 422 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing a remarkable performance that left the Cardinals' defense scrambling. Complementing his efforts, another Seahawk receiver racked up 188 receiving yards, providing a reliable target downfield and making big plays when it mattered most. Despite the Cardinals' struggles, Jeremiyah Love managed to lead his team in rushing with just 27 yards. The Seahawks' defense was equally instrumental in this blowout, highlighted by three sacks and two interceptions from their defensive unit. The game’s turning point came early in the second quarter when Seattle's defense intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown, shifting momentum and putting the game firmly in their control. Arizona's inability to respond effectively to the relentless pressure ultimately sealed their fate in this lopsided affair.
