In a high-scoring affair, the New Orleans Saints topped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 52-31 in Week 6 of the 2027 season. The Saints, looking to solidify their playoff position, delivered an impressive performance that showcased their offensive firepower despite a valiant effort from the Buccaneers. Baker Mayfield had a standout game for Tampa Bay, throwing for 348 yards and four touchdowns, demonstrating his ability to connect with his receivers, including Ted Hurst III, who racked up 122 receiving yards. However, it was TreVeyon Henderson of the Saints who stole the show, rushing for 184 yards and contributing significantly to the team's offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Saints made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Lorenzo Styles Jr. highlighted the defensive effort with two interceptions, while Chase Young added a sack to disrupt Tampa Bay's rhythm. The turning point came in the second half when Styles' second interception set up a touchdown that widened the gap and put the game out of reach for the Buccaneers.
