In a decisive Week 9 showdown, the Buffalo Bills topped the Minnesota Vikings with a final score of 42-21, solidifying their position as a formidable contender this season. With the victory, the Bills aim to continue their momentum heading into the final stretch of the 2026 campaign. Josh Allen led the charge for Buffalo, throwing for 227 yards and guiding the offense with precision. James Cook III contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 91 rushing yards, while Khalil Shakir emerged as a standout receiver, accumulating 131 yards through the air. Their dynamic performances created an offensive juggernaut that the Vikings struggled to contain. Defensively, the Bills were relentless, with Greg Rousseau making a significant impact by recording 2.5 sacks. The turning point came late in the first half when Maxwell Hairston intercepted a pass, shifting the momentum firmly in Buffalo's favor. The Vikings were unable to recover from that setback, as the Bills' defense consistently disrupted their rhythm and stifled any hope of a comeback.
