In a thrilling Week 3 matchup, the Atlanta Falcons topped the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 35-24, marking a crucial victory early in the 2027 season. Both teams were looking to solidify their positions in the playoff race, but it was Atlanta that managed to pull ahead and secure the win on the road. Bijan Robinson was the standout performer for the Falcons, dominating the ground game with 145 rushing yards, while Jaxson Dart of the 49ers led the passing attack with 165 yards and two touchdowns. Despite Dart's efforts, the Niners struggled to keep pace, and Atlanta's offensive efficiency proved to be the difference-maker in this contest. Defensively, Jalon Walker shone for the Falcons, recording five total tackles and two sacks, which disrupted the 49ers' offensive flow throughout the game. The turning point came in the second half when Atlanta's defense stifled a San Francisco drive, allowing the Falcons to capitalize and extend their lead. With Walker's impactful performance, Atlanta's defense laid the groundwork for this critical win on the road.
