In a tightly contested matchup, the Philadelphia Eagles held off the Atlanta Falcons, securing a 21-14 victory in Week 3 of the 2029 season. Both teams came into the game looking to build momentum, but it was the Eagles who emerged victorious, solidifying their position in the early playoff race. Offensively, Nico Iamaleava of the Falcons had a standout performance, throwing for 156 yards and two touchdowns. However, it was Harlem Berry of the Eagles who stole the show on the ground, racking up an impressive 155 rushing yards, proving to be a key component in Philadelphia's offensive strategy. Zachariah Branch also contributed significantly for Atlanta, tallying 102 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Eagles' balanced attack. Defensively, the Eagles made crucial stops, with Jonathan Greenard registering a key sack that helped disrupt Atlanta's rhythm. Divine Deablo’s interception further tilted the momentum in Philadelphia's favor, marking a pivotal turning point in the second half. The Eagles' ability to capitalize on turnovers and limit big plays ultimately sealed their win over the Falcons, showcasing their resilience and tenacity on both sides of the ball.
