In a commanding performance, the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Houston Texans 24-3 in Week 7 of the 2028 season. With both teams vying for playoff positioning, the Jaguars took control early and never looked back, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball. Trevor Lawrence led the way for Jacksonville, throwing for 84 yards and a touchdown while also contributing significantly in the running game. However, the standout player was Bhayshul Tuten, who rushed for an impressive 126 yards and added 40 receiving yards, making him a dual threat that the Texans struggled to contain throughout the game. Defensively, the Jaguars were relentless, with Albert Regis recording two sacks and Koi Perich adding an interception to seal the game. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Perich's interception halted a potential Texans scoring drive, allowing the Jaguars to extend their lead and ultimately secure the victory. Jacksonville's defense effectively stifled Houston's offense, ensuring that the Texans could never find their rhythm.
