In a thrilling Week 2 matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Cleveland Browns with a final score of 37-30, securing their first victory of the season. The game was a must-win for both teams as they looked to establish momentum early in the 2027 campaign, but it was the Jaguars who emerged victorious on their home turf. Cleveland's Taylen Green had a standout performance, throwing for 358 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with his receivers. Denzel Boston was his top target, racking up an impressive 200 receiving yards, while the Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten powered through for 121 rushing yards, adding a crucial element to Jacksonville's offensive strategy. Defensively, the Jaguars made key plays that impacted the game's outcome, highlighted by Josh Hines-Allen's two sacks and Jalen Huskey's interception. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Huskey's pick halted a potential game-tying drive by the Browns, allowing the Jaguars to maintain their lead and secure the win.
