The Indianapolis Colts topped the Washington Commanders 35-20 in a Week 4 clash of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams eager to prove their mettle, the Colts came out on top, showcasing their offensive firepower and strategic execution. Daniel Jones led the Colts' air attack with a touchdown pass, while Anthony Richardson Sr. dominated on the ground, racking up an impressive 108 rushing yards. Despite a strong performance from the Commanders' Jayden Daniels, who threw for 318 yards, the Colts' balance and efficiency ultimately made the difference. Stefon Diggs also shone for Washington, contributing 101 receiving yards but it wasn't enough to spark a comeback. Defensively, Sauce Gardner stood out for the Colts, recording four total tackles, while K'Lavon Chaisson wreaked havoc for the Commanders with three sacks. However, the turning point came when Quan Martin of Washington intercepted Jones three times, but the Colts maintained their composure and capitalized on their offensive opportunities. The Colts' ability to respond under pressure sealed their victory and showcased their resilience in a key matchup.
