In a tightly contested matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars narrowly defeated the Houston Texans 24-19 in Week 15 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications hanging in the balance, both teams fought hard to secure a crucial victory, but it was the Jaguars who emerged victorious on the road. Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars with a steady performance, throwing for a touchdown while managing the game effectively. Houston's C.J. Stroud showcased his ability with 254 passing yards, but it was David Montgomery's ground game that stood out, rushing for 79 yards, and Nico Collins' impressive 101 receiving yards that kept the Texans competitive throughout. Defensively, Travon Walker was a standout for Jacksonville, recording three sacks that disrupted Houston's offensive rhythm at critical junctures. The Jaguars' ability to pressure Stroud proved decisive, particularly in the second half when Walker's exploits helped stifle a potential game-tying drive. With a key interception from Derek Stingley Jr. late in the game, Houston was unable to capitalize on their opportunities, sealing the Jaguars' crucial win.
