In a dominant display to kick off the 2027 season, the Arizona Cardinals routed the Cleveland Browns with a final score of 48-13. This Week 1 showdown set the tone for both teams, with the Cardinals showcasing their offensive prowess right from the start. Carson Beck led the charge for Arizona, throwing for an impressive 273 yards and five touchdowns, making it a day to remember for the young quarterback. Jeremiyah Love contributed significantly on the ground, adding 83 rushing yards, while the Cardinals' offensive unit operated efficiently, spreading the ball and keeping the Browns' defense on their heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Cardinals were equally formidable, with Will Johnson leading the team with four tackles. Josh Sweat added pressure with a key sack, but it was Boubacar Traore's interception that marked a turning point in the game, halting a potential Browns drive and allowing Arizona to extend their lead. This performance sets a high bar for the rest of the season as the Cardinals look to build on this commanding victory.
