In a thrilling Week 14 matchup, the New York Giants narrowly defeated the Seattle Seahawks, with a final score of 31-28. Both teams were vying for playoff positioning, making this clash a critical one as the season nears its conclusion. The Giants' victory keeps their postseason hopes alive, while the Seahawks will need to regroup as they head into the final stretch of the season. Sam Darnold led the Seahawks with a strong performance, throwing for 259 yards and two touchdowns, but it was Calvin Austin's impressive 90 receiving yards that helped propel the Giants to victory. Cam Skattebo contributed significantly on the ground with 54 rushing yards, providing the necessary balance to the Giants' offensive attack. The combination of timely passes and strategic rushing kept the Seahawks' defense on its heels throughout the contest. Defensively, Arvell Reese was a standout for the Giants, recording 10 total tackles and consistently making plays to halt the Seahawks' momentum. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Reese's relentless pressure helped set up a crucial stop, allowing the Giants to maintain their lead and ultimately secure the win. While the Seahawks had their moments, including a sack by DeMarcus Lawrence and an interception by Devon Witherspoon, it was the Giants' defense that made the decisive plays when it mattered most.
