The Houston Texans dominated the New York Jets with a decisive 34-10 victory in Week 2 of the 2027 season. With this win, the Texans continue to solidify their position as a contender, showcasing their offensive prowess and a defense that stepped up when it mattered most. C.J. Stroud led the charge for Houston, throwing for 276 yards and two touchdowns, proving instrumental in the team's offensive strategy. Kewan Lacy complemented Stroud's performance with a strong ground game, rushing for 113 yards and establishing a formidable presence on the field. Nico Collins also made his mark with 133 receiving yards, adding another layer to the Texans' offensive attack. Defensively, the Texans made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Kamari Lassiter's interception was a critical turning point, thwarting a potential Jets scoring drive and allowing Houston to extend their lead. Although Jamien Sherwood of the Jets recorded nine tackles and Tyler Baron notched two sacks, it wasn't enough to halt the Texans' offensive onslaught, leaving New York searching for answers as they fell to 0-2 on the season.
